These chocolate chia energy bars are so rich and chocolate-y that you wouldn't even know they're healthy.
These energy bars are gluten free, and can be made dairy free and vegan. They are protein and fiber packed like most energy bars, but without all the added sugar and other additives. Plus, they taste like dessert! You can also make these into energy balls if that's easier for you.
I love to prep a healthier treat as I prep my other meals and snacks for the week to ensure I have something to reach for when I am having that sweet craving.
Ingredients
1c oats
7 juicy medjool dates (pitted)
1/3c cashew butter
1/4c nut milk
3 cracks salt
2 scoops collagen or chocolate protein powder
3 T cacao powder
1 T chia seeds
1/4c mini chocolate chips (I like enjoylife)
